It started with three colleagues and a dream for something more.
The three of us met while working at the same firm. Like many working women, we had ambitions beyond our jobs. We wanted to build something that belonged to us — something we could grow with our own hands, our own ideas, and our own courage. We didn’t want to simply work for someone else’s dream. We wanted to create ours.
Our love for fashion, styling and, especially, the saree eventually brought us to the idea of La Amae.

We have worn different kinds of clothing and experimented with different styles, but there is something about draping a saree that makes us feel truly special. The way it carries you, the way you walk in it, and that little wow moment when you see yourself in the mirror — it is a feeling of confidence that is difficult to put into words.
And we thought: every woman deserves to feel that way.

So La Amae was born — with three businesswomen behind it, a dream ahead of us, and a belief that we can go much further than we ever imagined.
